CCTV carried out live coverage of the whole journey, causing a great attention. At the same time, he spread the sport to all parts of the world and China. And has become Jackie Chan, Jin Kairui, Xuan Bin and other international star heavyweight partners, in the film and television drama successfully conducted the wonderful roller skating scene. This sport is not only suitable for various types of roads and highways, but also can be carried out in skiing venues and winter Olympics sled speed-down track. It is a model project of reuse of winter Olympic competition facilities.
Also the pilot should have the right outfit. This BUGGY ROLLIN wheel suit named 9 Dragon is a work of art by itself. The combination of hand made drawings are running on the surfaces of the shells of the armor as well as on the stretch under armor lycra (spandex) suit. The helmet is also in coherence with the dragon concept. Nine is the most powerful number in Chinese tradition and also for Nicholas Tesla (with 3 and 6). This number was reserve for the use of the emperor only. Now a days, the more number 9 appears on Chinese plate number, the more powerful is the owner. Dragon stands for the most powerful animal. It has a strong spirit of freedom, that fit perfectly to Jean Yves Blondeau mind and family heritage.
thank you Abraham. it is a good suit indeed. i hope you will love it as much as i do ! and to magnificent experiences with it. remember to always be wise and prudent, take care of risks and make step by step progress. never forget the joyfull spirit of your childhood time when you wear it and then the magic will operate.Jean Yves
Blondeau is the inventor of the 32-wheel roller suit (also known as the wheel suit or buggy rollin). This suit places a number of rollers (similar to those found on rollerblades) on most of the major joints, the torso, and the back.[2] The wearer can ride downhill in a variety of positions (upright, prone, supine, on all fours, etc.) at speeds of up to 78 mph (126 km/h).[3] He has been featured on television shows in several countries on all continents. The buggy rollin wheel suit can be used on any surface suitable for roller skates.[4][5]
He built the roller suit as part of his graduation project at the industrial design school École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d'art (also known as the Olivier de Serres) in Paris. The study theme was: \"systems that underline the sensations caused by the displacement of the human center of gravity in relation to support points in order to move into space\". The research phase lasted for 6 months, followed by 1 month of synthesis and 2 months for producing the prototype. Then followed a year of secret patent application writing, finally published in June 1995.[6][7]
Since then, six generations of buggy-rollins have been created. They include variations from the most basic kneepad with rollers to the most sophisticated one called \"Super Rollin Bionic Woman\" (SURBO). The prototypes have evolved into safer, more comfortable and easier machines that can be adapted to all different morphologies.[6]
Two of his suits can be seen in a short scene partway through the end credits of the 2008 Jim Carrey film Yes Man.[4] Two other suits were featured in a commercial for Mennen filmed in South Africa and intended for distribution in South America in 2010.[8] He also featured in a commercial for Megapass, a broadband telecommunication service in South Korea.[9] In 2011 he took part in Stan Lee's Superhumans TV program.[citation needed] Blondeau trained Jackie Chan to use a roller suit in the 2012 film Chinese Zodiac.[10]
The planned \"full-suit\" is not yet available but the first component - the Rollin Recap - which enables use of the knees with conventional in-line skates, can be ordered online for US$175 + delivery costs.
I was a student at the École Olivier de Serres in Paris, one of the biggest Industrial Design schools in France. The suit was part of my thesis. I wanted to create something that was completely new. Not furniture or a car.
No! It was an incredible coincidence. A manga creator and I had the exact same idea at almost the same time. With the difference that in Japan he created a story out of it - and in France I designed a suit.
Hanabi! That's the Japanese word for fireworks. It is the feeling of explosions in your mind. In every second of a trip thousands of bits of information surge towards you. And in a special way: Normally, people stand on their feet which is why we are used to sensations rising through our legs and spine up to the brain. In contrast, if I glide a few centimetres over the asphalt, the impressions go directly to my head. Or they come from the elbows, knees, and chest. I feel the grip through the rollers on my chest when I drift through curves. Every body movement is important. Much like a surfer riding a wave, or a skier who suddenly feels the perfect snow. In a roll suit I have a sense of perfection - with sensations that flow all over me.
It is like learning to swim. When I first went into the water, water ran into my nose, my eyes, I went under ... Your arm and leg strokes have to be accurate and efficient in order to stay afloat. It is similarly difficult to control how the suit rolls. Some movements go against instinct: For example, if I lean to the left side, my foot and leg system go to the right. You have to reprogramme yourself.
Yes, but there is no law that prohibits roll suit riding. It depends a bit on the mood of the police and on how I explain what I'm doing. I follow all traffic rules and explain my suit. Mostly it's okay. Because I'm just as fast on narrow mountain roads as cars, I am not a traffic obstacle. But most of the time I train in an inline skating club to practice new moves. It's amazing, but even at 45 I still discover new ways to move.
Since the first prototype in 1994, I have continuously improved the material, the handling, and the technology. I have each carbon part produced expensively. Prominent lettering also upgrades the suits. The emblems must be scratch-resistant, as well as resistant to heat, cold, and rain. I knew that RATHGEBER also produces very high quality for the automotive industry. I chose a variation of flexible plastic that adapts to the curvatures of the suit. For the shoot with Jackie Chan I had no less than ten of the self-adhesive RATHGEBER stickers - Hollywood stuntmen love to destroy everything. And I wanted to be prepared.
No, the suits are still made piece by piece in my workshop. But demand is growing, and I'm talking with different manufacturers. I have already had to cancel participating in an Olympic opening ceremony because I could not make enough suits for the show team. Currently I am negotiating with a South Korean boy band: they want to use my suits for a music clip. That means five perfect roll suits for the video shoot plus a few for training. A lot of work - but I love it.

Continuing an animal theme our top 10 most bizarre inventions of all time is an invention created not for bears, but against them. Project Grizzly is the name of a suit created by Troy Hurtubise after he was attacked by a bear and swore to never let it happen again (worst superhero origin ever). The suit can withstand crushing power and impacts but unfortunately is very restrictive in terms of movement.
Project grizzly is a weird invention. Ok so you were attacked by a bear. Why do you not just stay away from bears then Are you really going to have this suit on all the time so you do not get attacked Probably not. Sort of a silly invention if you ask me.

Rollerman (civilian alter ego Jean-Yves Blondeau) is a self-styled french hero sporting custom-designed Roller Suit, aka Wheel Suit, aka Buggy-Rollin. This suit places up to 32 roller-blade-style wheels on most of the major joints, the torso, and the back allowing the wearer to reach speeds up to 70 miles per hour. After 9 months of planning and testing, the first generation of roller suit was ready to go, since 1995 there have been 6 major suit designs and redesigns to improve safety, mobility, speed, and balance. They include variations from the most basic kneepad with rollers to the most sophisticated one called \"Super Rollin Bionic Woman\" (SURBO).
For a breif period Jean-Yves was retconned as JC \"Jackie Chan\" Martin, a sort of Kung-Fu Indiana Jones. Chan wore a similar custom roller suit, but also incorporated the use of Kung Fu in this quest to find 12 lost ancient bronze animal heads representing the 12 stages of the Chinese zodiac. As requested by his employer the MP Corporation, who secretly needed them to perform bizarre occult rituals unbeknownst to JC. 59ce067264

I just bought a Buggy Rollin Suit and I am loving it! This suit not only looks great, but it is also so comfortable. I recently used the Jrop Towing Services nearby for a roadside service and I was really pleased with the results. From the time I called in, to the time the tow truck arrived, the response time was incredibly quick. The drivers were courteous and professional, and the quality of their service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend the Jrop Towing Service to anyone in need of roadside assistance.
