Freezes the encounters in the Alien Base and Alien Outpost. Reduced encounters, reduced money. Some encounters (the ones in the beginning of the game) need to be cranked up a little to keep it interesting. It should feel like a good time to practice the new tactical battles. (Yes, I am punning as hard as I can.)
Hack All Alien Units gives you a huge promotion for every illegal operative you manage to sacrifice. Yes, that s the word sacrifice. XCOM 2 will pay you a reparation for deaths you make up to human levels. This cost includes the recruitment of new operatives through the Combine in the long term, but you get it right away. If you engage in sacrifice in any mission where you would not normally want to, you will get that reparation in your next mission.
Hack Grenades: Hack the explosive crates on the soldier level. You will get more grenades overall, guaranteed to help you use best available tactics or just HURT THEM! Edit the cheat command to control which grenade you get.
Hack Explosives: Produce units that shoot smaller (or exploded) grenades. As usual with these mods, make sure you are using the 'Suitcase' cheat to command them. The bombs that explode in the 'Explosives' use the 'Hack Explosives!' hack.
The QVM editor has been present in IGI 1, but I think it hasn't been extensively used. This tool allows you to quickly modify the AI's target settings. The program provides a generic target strength and ability to disable the AI's radar and infrared. Check out this video.
